Welcome
Your Stress Reset Toolkit
Thank you for being here. This page gathers the practices Elizabeth shares in her talks so you can come back to them any time you need a moment to reset. Try the techniques below, follow along with the guided videos and download the journal to keep your reflections in one place.
Stress Reset Techniques
Each one takes about a minute. Pick the one that feels right today.
The Longer Exhale
Breathe in gently through your nose for a count of four. Breathe out slowly through your mouth for a count of six to eight. Repeat for one to two minutes and let your shoulders drop a little more with each exhale.
5-4-3-2-1 Grounding
Name five things you can see, four things you can feel, three things you can hear, two things you can smell and one thing you can taste. Take your time with each one.
The Butterfly Hug
Cross your arms over your chest so each hand rests near the opposite shoulder. Slowly alternate gentle taps, left then right, while you breathe at your own pace.
Orienting
Let your eyes slowly move around the space you are in. Notice colors, shapes and light. Let your gaze rest on something that feels pleasant or neutral for a few breaths.
