Elevate with Elizabeth (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website elevatewithelizabeth.info and any related services we offer.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account registration — name, email address, password.
Purchase information — name, email, billing address, and phone number required to complete a transaction.
Contact form submissions — name, email, phone (optional), and message.
Newsletter sign-up — email address and first name.
Course and program activity — progress, completions, and feedback you submit.

Information Collected Automatically

Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit.
Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 below.

Payment Information

Payment card details are processed by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your card.

3. How We Use Your Information

To process purchases and fulfill orders (physical and digital).
To create and manage your account and course access.
To send order confirmations, receipts, and service updates.
To send marketing emails and newsletters to subscribers who have opted in.
To respond to contact form inquiries and customer support requests.
To improve the Site, understand how it is used, and develop new offerings.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only as necessary to operate our services:

Payment processor — Stripe processes payment card transactions securely. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Authentication — Account authentication is powered by Clerk. Their privacy policy is available at clerk.com/privacy.
Email delivery — We use Postmark to deliver transactional and marketing emails.
Legal compliance — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing Elizabeth@elevatewithelizabeth.info.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner lets you Accept, Reject, or Manage non-essential cookies. Nothing below “Strictly Necessary” runs before you choose, and you can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer of every page.

Strictly Necessary (always on)

These do not require consent because the Site cannot function without them. They are never gated by the cookie banner.

Account authentication (Clerk) — keeps you signed in to your account and course access.
Shopping cart — stored in your browser's local storage so your cart persists between pages.
Stripe — loaded only on the cart, checkout, and payment pages to process your transaction and for fraud prevention. It is never loaded elsewhere on the Site.
Google reCAPTCHA — runs invisibly on forms (contact, newsletter sign-up, reviews, checkout) to block automated abuse. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics (requires consent)

Google Analytics (GA4) only loads after you select “Accept” or enable “Analytics” in Manage Preferences. We use Google's Consent Mode, so no analytics cookie (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) is set before that choice, and we tell Google to stop collecting and we clear those cookies if you later withdraw consent. Marketing / Advertising (requires consent)

If you accept “Marketing” in Manage Preferences, advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are shared with Google for measurement purposes. We do not run this category, and it is automatically switched off, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — see Section 9 below.

Embedded Media (requires consent)

YouTube videos (served from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain) and the Google Maps location on our Contact and Mind-Body Wellness Center pages do not load until you accept “Embedded media” or click to play/load that specific item. Clicking an individual video or map loads that one embed for your current visit without changing your saved preference. Once loaded, these are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 12 months, or until we materially change what we track — whichever comes first — at which point you will be asked again. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly through their settings; doing so may affect parts of the Site that rely on them.

7. Email Opt-Out

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by emailing Elizabeth@elevatewithelizabeth.info. Transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, password resets) are not subject to opt-out.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

9. Your Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA and Other US States)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws in other US states (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others as they take effect). Subject to the exceptions each law allows, these can include the right to:

Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes for collecting it.
Delete — request that we delete the personal information we hold about you.
Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Opt out of sale or sharing — opt out of the sale or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Opt out of targeted advertising — opt out of the use of your personal information for targeted advertising.
Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you accept “Marketing” cookies, limited advertising signals are sent to Google for ad measurement; you can decline or withdraw this at any time from Cookie Preferences in the footer, and we honor it as an opt-out request.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information and out of targeted advertising, and we automatically switch off the Marketing cookie category for that visit — no additional action is required on your part.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
