My story
When I embarked on this journey of helping others to heal I thought it was mostly about focusing externally through acts of service and kindness. However, the more I did the work, the more I learned and explored, the more I discovered that this purpose driven life in helping others had to first start with my own healing. From that place of recovery, I learned that it wasn't my job to "fix" everyone or control everything. I had struggled so much in my life aiming to be perfect so that I would be good enough, pretty enough, smart enough and successful enough to be loved and accepted.
